Wine Fine Trebinje: Spring in the Spirit of Wine and Friendship

[object Object]

In the city of sun, stone, and wine, beneath the canopies of century-old plane trees, the symbol of Trebinje, wine, food, and friends will meet once again this spring. The third edition of the Wine Fine Trebinje festival will take place on May 2, confirming the continuity and growth of an event that continues to raise the standards of the regional wine and gastronomy scene.

Support for Family Wineries - The Heart of the Festival

This year’s festival will once again place special focus on small family wineries, offering them an opportunity in Trebinje to present their work to a wider audience and establish direct contact with visitors.

“The goal of the festival is not only to promote wine, spirits, and food, but also to create a space for direct interaction between winemakers and visitors - conversations about grape varieties, terroir, production processes, and family tradition. Through this personal encounter, the audience discovers how exceptional wines are created and how much knowledge, effort, and passion stand behind every bottle,” the festival organizers told Hedonist Magazine.

Organizers emphasize that this philosophy of authenticity and closeness represents the foundation of the Wine Fine concept and the reason why the event continues to position itself year after year as an important meeting point of the regional wine and gastro scene.

A press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m., followed by a professional workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the hotel’s Crystal Hall. The workshop will be led by DIPWSET Certified educator Ljubica Radan under the title “Wine Evaluation Through a Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting,” intended for professionals and true enthusiasts of wine culture.

Hedonistic Rituals for Visitors

The festival officially opens for visitors at 5 p.m. at Freedom Square, when the city center transforms into an open stage of hedonism. The evening program will feature tastings of premium wines, spirits, and carefully selected food, accompanied by a music program that nurtures a Mediterranean spirit and a refined atmosphere.

Trebinje singer-songwriters MIKI and SEP will perform, while a DJ set will follow the rhythm of the evening - from relaxed tones to more dynamic social moments under the festival lights.

“Wine Fine Trebinje is not just a festival - it is a meeting of people, ideas, and flavors. An ode to a lifestyle that values quality, authenticity, and the moment,” organizers told Hedonist.
