CIM Forum 2026 will place an even stronger focus this year on connecting the region’s creative sector, with one of its central programs being the CC4WBs Networking Event, scheduled to take place in Kotor from May 28 to 30.
The event will gather professionals from the fields of culture, media, and creative industries from the Western Balkans and across Europe. During the festival, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, present the results of their projects, and initiate new forms of cooperation.
The networking event is conceived as an open platform for connecting artists, creatives, media professionals, and institutions, while also serving as a space for discussions about initiatives that can contribute to the development of creative industries in the region.
Participants will present examples of best practices and the outcomes of various projects, with a special focus on strengthening regional cooperation, encouraging the mobility of artists and professionals, and developing sustainable cultural and creative ecosystems across the Western Balkans.

The CC4WBs Networking Event is organized with the support of UNESCO through the Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs) project, funded by the European Union. The project is jointly implemented by UNESCO, the British Council, and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
The initiative aims to strengthen the capacities of the cultural and creative sectors in the region through the development of cultural policies, support for artist mobility, and the encouragement of creative content exchange between the Western Balkans and the rest of Europe.
The jubilee fifth edition of the CIM Forum 2026 will take place from May 28 to 31 at several locations within the historic Old Town of Kotor. Over the four days of the festival, the city will become a meeting place for artists, creatives, media professionals, institutions, and representatives of the cultural sector from the region and Europe.
Over the years, the festival has built a reputation as a space for exchanging ideas, knowledge, and international collaboration, reaffirming Kotor as one of the important hubs of the regional creative scene.
As the organizers like to say, people come to CIM with their hearts-and leave with a smile. See you in Kotor from May 28 to 31.

In a world where creativity is measured by the speed of an algorithm, and attention lasts no longer than a single scroll, few events manage to maintain seriousness, credibility, and genuine regional influence. Over the past five years, CIM Forum has steadily built exactly that position - evolving from a professional gathering into a benchmark platform for the creative industries of Southeast Europe.

CIM Forum – the Festival of Creative Industries and Media – enters its milestone fifth year. From May 28 to 31, 2026, Kotor will once again become a regional hub for the creative industries, media, culture, and innovation, bringing together professionals from Montenegro, the wider region, and across Europe.
